Overview
In the prose opening, Agnar is Hrauthung’s son and Frigg’s fosterling. When his father holds a stranger between two fires, he brings a full horn and says the king does wrong to torment a guest without cause. The man in the fire promises a reward; the closing prose says Agnar rules long after Geirröth dies.
