About MythWeave

MythWeave is a public, bilingual Greek mythology atlas. It is built for readers who want the story, the relationships and the ancient sources in one place.

What The Site Offers

MythWeave combines complete chapter-led story guides with an interactive mythology atlas. Readers can begin from a story such as the Odyssey, the Theogony, the Trojan War, Heracles, the Argonauts or the Underworld, then follow the people, places, events and relationships connected to that episode.

The site is intentionally bilingual. English and Traditional Chinese pages are paired, and Chinese entries keep common English names visible so a reader can verify uncertain transliterations.

Editorial Standards

• Published entries are written from reviewed records, not copied from open web summaries.
• Ancient works and passage locators are shown where they support a person, story event or relationship.
• Different ancient versions are labelled as variants instead of being flattened into one single answer.
• Modern screen adaptations are kept separate from the ancient tradition and remain text-only unless image rights are separately reviewed.
• Images used for the atlas are local project assets or properly credited public-domain or Creative Commons material.

Advertising Status

MythWeave currently exposes only the passive AdSense account-verification tag and the root ads.txt declaration. It does not load Google advertising JavaScript, request ads, reserve ad space or ask visitors to click ads. Any future advertising test must pass a separate privacy, placement, performance and rights review before it appears on the site.

The project source and issue tracker are available on GitHub. Corrections are welcome when they name the relevant page, ancient source or passage.

關於 MythWeave

MythWeave 是公開的中英雙語希臘神話圖鑑。它把完整故事導讀、人物關係和古代文本出處放在同一處，方便讀者按故事或人物開始閱讀。

已發布條目不會直接複製網上摘要；人物、事件和關係都會盡量列明所依據的古代作品及段落。不同古代版本會分開標示，現代影劇改編也不會混入古代傳統之中。

目前網站只放置 AdSense 帳戶驗證標籤及 ads.txt 聲明，並沒有載入 Google 廣告程式、請求廣告或預留廣告位置。日後如要測試廣告，會先完成私隱、版面、效能和素材權利檢查。
