Galar
The dwarf who joins Fjalar in killing Kvasir and later ransoms his life with the mead.

Overview
Galar is Fjalar's brother and a joint participant in Kvasir's death and the brewing of the poetic mead. The source does not give the two separate motives, but places them in the same killing and brewing. Later, facing Suttungr, they give up the mead to avoid the tide, bringing their earlier violence back upon them.
