Phoebe

Overview
Phoebe is one of the first Titan goddesses born from Gaia and Uranus. Her mythic position unfolds chiefly through genealogy: with Coeus she leads to Leto and Asteria; Leto leads to Apollo and Artemis, while Asteria leads to Hecate. Phoebe therefore connects Olympian deities with the earlier Titan generation. She is not prominent because of a single adventure; her importance is that later, more active deities retain a clear Titan ancestry through her line.
