The home where the one-sandal oracle becomes an expedition command and toward which Argo returns.
Overview
Iolcus is not a static point of origin. It is where Pelias’ rule, Jason’s claim and the expedition’s departure intersect; the final arrival at nearby Pagasae closes the voyage without automatically resolving kingship or family conflict.
