Overview
Eris is Strife, born from Nyx alone and beginning a branch in which an abstract condition produces further social harms. Hesiod extends from her toil, forgetfulness, famine, pain, battles, murders, disputes, lies and lawlessness. Nor is she automatically the golden-apple agent in every Trojan War tradition; that claim requires its own source before entering the graph.
