Coeus
A Titan child of Gaia and Uranus, linked with Phoebe and the later line of Leto and Asteria.
Overview
Coeus belongs to the Titan generation born from Gaia and Uranus. In the Theogony his importance is mainly genealogical: with Phoebe his line leads to Leto and Asteria, and from there toward Apollo, Artemis and Hecate. He therefore acts as a connecting point in the early divine family rather than as a figure with many independent episodes.
